Dear MRC Family,

Pentecost blessings to you in this season of Ordinary Time

Whether you’ve had a difficult week, a joy-filled week, or a so-so week come to worship this Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost to be at peace, experience hope, and have your body and soul restored for the week ahead. Tom will lead us in our hymns and sing the Prelude “Wayside” and the Anthem “God Is Not Against Me.” I am preaching from Exodus 2.23-25; 3.1-15; 4.10-17 — Moses encounters the burning bush and receives the holy name of God — and my sermon title is Stay Curious. After worship, come
downstairs to the Lower Auditorium for coffee and conversation. If you are unable to be in person, we will be streaming live on our YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@mrcafabulouschurchoflove1611.

Family of God, may you be encouraged by these words that I have posted in my Parsonage study —
. . . you are fed by the Spirit, sustained by an energy of love, the power of a hope that is greater than you, a heart who treasures you, who lifts you, who includes you, who believes in you . . . Let yourself be carried.  (Steve Garnaas-Holmes)

Keep following and bothering Jesus, beloved.

With gratitude for the privilege of being your pastor and the holy call of loving you,

Pastor Trish
