We are supporters and partners of Destiny's Bridge. Destiny's Bridge™ envisions being a community established for the temporary housing and care of homeless adults. The primary objective will be to provide shelter, sustenance, and medical care, with opportunities for rehabilitation, and training in employable skills, to facilitate reintegration with mainstream society.

Please join Pastor Trish in the Coventry House Parsonage Thursday evenings at 6:15 PM to study the Bible as we grow as disciples of Jesus.
Recent Bible Studies have been:
The Sacred Pulse: Holy Rhythms for Overwhelmed Souls written by April Fiet. Led by Pastor Trish.
Five Biblical Women: Unnamed, but Not Unknown -- Exploring Female Encounters with Jesus Through Scripture, Poetry, and Art to Uncover Hidden Connections & Relevance to our own Faith led by former Pastoral Intern Grace Losso Modla.
We are partners with Rise Against Hunger's Pathways to End Hunger model that aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), primarily #2 Zero Hunger and #4 Quality Education.
They target remote, last-mile communities within hunger pockets designated “serious” or higher on the Global Hunger Index, which are the hardest places to reach and are often difficult to access, lack communication and have poor infrastructure. With the support of our global impact partners, we practice locally-led development by providing expertise vital to empower local communities and providing meals through local schools to incentive attendance and enable kids to obtain an education. Our work starts with a meal.
Led by the Dorcas Circle, we volunteer on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Bayshore Lunch Program preparing and feeding a hot meal for the people in the Bayshore area.
The Dorcas Circle is a women's group organized for fellowship and support of the church.
We are founding members of the Community Outreach Group (“COG”). This is an organization that is compassionate, effective, dependable and an innovative part of the local community support system for individuals in need. COG also interfaces with related social service agencies to help provide resources and some financial support. We have many other organizations that assist us in order to expand our ability to effectively serve those in need in our community. Through outreach, we create programs that are needed by our clients.
As a bold demonstration of God's love for all people, we advocate and educate for the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in the church and our world, and show our support by marching as a congregation in the Asbury Park Pride Parade each June.
A ministry in our congregation that provides home cooked meals to those in our community (and beyond) who are shut-ins, recovering from illness and/or hospitalizations, enduring grief and loss, or people who are in need of a meal.
If you are seeking a space to slow down and find stillness in your life, you are warmly invited to come to the Meditation Garden behind the church. The garden is surrounded by a variety of ferns and perennial grass along with benches for visitors to use. Open from sunrise to sunset with ample parking available.
Through the work of many laboring hands - tilling, fertilizing, building, planting, tending - we will be able to offer free, fresh produce to the Calico Cat Food Pantry, the WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) Program, and our local community.
If you would like to join our volunteers, please contact Pastor Trish. And thank you!
