Dear MRC Family,

Pentecost blessings to you, beloved of God

Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray. (Proverbs 22.6)

Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Whoever welcomes a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward; and whoever welcomes a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive the reward of the righteous; and whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple—truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.  (Matthew 10.40-42)

Come this Sunday at 10:30AM because we have another joyous day of worship — it’s Children’s Sunday! Our wonderful children and youth will present the “Sermon” called A Good Samaritan for Today’s World written by Nancy Coffin. Tom will lead us in our hymns and sing the Anthem, “The Joy.” After worship, we will have a yummy brunch in the Education Building prepared by our fabulous and faithful Kitchen Team. As it is the second Sunday, we will receive our Deacons’ offering to help those in need in our church and wider community.

And please join me in giving a big THANK YOU to our beautiful, faithful, tireless leaders who love and teach our young ones: Nancy Coffin, Denise Gaeta, Julie Hertzog, Kim Larson, Jo-Ann LoSapio, Beverly Bova Scarano, Dara Steele, and Abbey Thorpe.

If you are unable to be in person for worship, we will be streaming live on our YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@mrcafabulouschurchoflove1611. And if you are one of our many followers on Facebook, subscribers on YouTube, or you worship with us online, please consider donating to the ministries of MRC at www.mrchurch.us/give. Thank you for your generosity!

With gratitude for the privilege of being your pastor and the holy call of loving you,

Pastor Trish
