Pride Sunday -- God's Love is For Everyone

Pentecost blessings to you, beloved of God
This Sunday is Pride Sunday! Tom will lead us in our hymns and I will be preaching from 2 Corinthians 4.13-5.1 and my sermon title is Our Soul’s Address. We will not have Communion this Sunday but we will celebrate it on the third Sunday of the month. Please note worship will begin at 9:45AM because after worship we will be marching in the New Jersey Pride Parade with our partner, the Community Church of Keyport.
Why have we been marching every year since 2016? Because we welcome and affirm LGBTQ+ people into the full life and ministry of the church; indeed into full life in the world. Because we believe who we are, whom we love, what we look like, all our gender and sexual identities, and how we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God is beautiful, and a reason to celebrate all lives. In short, because we believe that God’s love and grace is for everyone.
