Dear MRC Family,
Pentecost blessings to you, beloved of God
Hooray! The rain seems like it will hold off until tomorrow so the beginning of summer backyard party at Coventry House is on for tonight 7-9PM. Bring a nibble, a beverage, and have relaxing conversation with your church family. And you can help me feed our backyard critters!
It’s the last Sunday in Pride month so come and worship our God of inclusion and Love this Fifth Sunday after Pentecost at 10:30AM. Tom will lead us in our hymns and sing the Prelude “Hope on the Horizon” and the Anthem “Made to Praise.” I am preaching from Colossians 3.12-17 and from a lesson I learned from watching the HBO Max series “The Pitt.” My sermon title is The Four Things That Matter Most, a Hawaiian ritual called ho’oponopono. After worship, come downstairs to the Lower Auditorium for coffee and conversation before you head out for summer fun.
If you are unable to be in person for worship, we will be streaming live on our YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@mrcafabulouschurchoflove1611. And if you are one of our many followers on Facebook, subscribers on YouTube, or you worship with us online, please consider donating to the ministries of MRC at www.mrchurch.us/give. Thank you for your generosity!
Please note: Middletown is hosting an America 250 Parade this Sunday, and there will be several road closures starting at 9AM. Please plan your route to the church accordingly.
