Dear Middletown Reformed Church Family and Friends,

Happy third day of Christmas! I pray you had a joyous and beautiful Christmas Day with your family and friends.

This Sunday we will continue to rejoice in the hope, peace, joy, and love the Christ Child brings to our world with Christmas hymns, Scripture, and various readings. It’s a Lessons and Carols kind of worship! Tom will lead us in our music; Magdala will sing “Angels We Have Heard on High” in French for the Offertory; and I am singing “Come Darkness, Come Light” by Mary Chapin Carpenter. Let there be singing and celebrating — a Savior is born.

Beloved, if you’ve been away for a while or have been coming to church every Sunday, I look forward to continuing to worship, pray, and sing with you in this beautiful season of Christmas.

Come doubting, come sure
Come fearful to this door
Come see what love is for
Alleluia
(From “Come Darkness, Come Light”)

With gratitude for the privilege of being your pastor and the holy call of loving you,

Pastor Trish
